This marks a historical cooperation of its kind between a Ukrainian company and Turbo Drill Industries. The technology is expected to significantly improve drilling speed and efficiency, making projects more economically viable across Ukraine’s oil and gas sector.
DTEK Oil&Gas, the country’s largest private gas producer, will become an authorised provider of Turbo Drill Industries’ Vertical Scout technology in Ukraine.

Vertical Scout is a robust mechanical drilling system, designed to stabilise well trajectory from the early stages of drilling, significantly reducing technical risks and financial costs. The system can deliver up to 30% cost savings compared with conventional rotary steerable systems.
The technology can be deployed without permanent presence of foreign specialists, allowing operations to continue reliably despite wartime and logistical constraints.
