Being a reliable partner for local communities is one of the key principles of DTEK Oil&Gas's operations. Every year, we implement social partnership programmes in the regions where we operate. These programmes are developed in cooperation with local communities and aim to address their urgent needs and improve the quality of life.
Over the years of cooperation, we have implemented a number of impactful projects in healthcare, education, infrastructure and energy efficiency, contributing to the sustainable development of the regions.
Our social initiatives include renovations of healthcare facilities, kindergartens, and schools; road restoration, procurement of medical equipment, construction of water pipelines and street lighting systems.
In total, the company has implemented more than 200 social projects in communities worth over UAH 112 million.
We also contribute to local budgets: since 1 January 2018, 5% of subsoil use royalties have been transferred to local budgets, supporting development of communities. Overall, more than UAH 908 million has been paid to local budgets .
