5,600 m deep well No. 34 is a vertical well. Pitless drilling was performed for the first time, including placement of the drilling waste outside the drilling site, which meets the best environmental standards.  An upgraded drilling rig with the top drive system of Region Drilling Company was used.

"Commissioning of a new high-yield producer well demonstrates our development vector: the Company continues investing in deep well drilling and development of the sites with challenging geological conditions," noted Igor Shchurov, CEO of DTEK Oil & Gas. "In order to do this we attract new technologies and equipment to the sector and develop the drilling and drilling services market. It is rather symbolic that the well "birth" coincides with our professional holiday —Day of Petroleum and Gas Industry Workers— and I would like to congratulate all employees of the Company thereon."
