DTEK Oil&Gas applies new seismic survey technologies

- used sweep signals with a frequency from 3 Hz, which significantly improves the resolution of the - data obtained;
- increased the length of the swept signal up to 30 seconds, which allows for deeper seismic images;
- achieved a record seismic density of more than 6.5 million traces/km².
“Using modern technologies and the application of the latest approaches, DTEK Oil&Gas has reached a new level of seismic exploration. From now on, we can obtain significantly higher-quality data at great depths and conduct fieldwork even in hard-to-reach areas – dense forests, swamps, mountains, and urban territories. The results of the data processing will allow DTEK Oil&Gas to increase the efficiency of hydrocarbon exploration, discover new hydrocarbon deposits, and enhance the efficiency of developing existing fields” said Yevgeniy Solodkyi, Head of the Exploration Department of DTEK Oil&Gas.
