DTEK Oil&Gas Expands Cooperation with International Professional Communities
DTEK Oil&Gas continues to strengthen its partnerships with leading international industry organizations that unite professionals in the oil and gas sector. Last week, the company welcomed representatives of the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) – Peter Verweij, CIO of EAGE, and Dmytro Bozhezha, EAGE Coordinator in Ukraine.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the Association’s activities and the opportunities it offers to Ukrainian oil and gas companies.
Key topics included the organization of scientific conferences and access to an extensive database containing specialized scientific articles and abstracts from leading experts worldwide. Special attention was also given to training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities for industry specialists.
DTEK Oil&Gas specialists were particularly interested in innovative approaches to applying artificial intelligence in working with scientific databases, including tools for optimizing search and information analysis.
“We see this meeting as a good opportunity for further cooperation with EAGE and knowledge exchange. We are especially interested in innovative technologies and tools that will help enhance the professional capabilities of our specialists,” the company noted.
Partnership with EAGE will complement DTEK Oil&Gas’s long-standing cooperation with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) – a leading global professional community of petroleum engineers. A significant number of DTEK Oil&Gas employees are members of SPE. Within this collaboration, the company participates in international conferences and industry forums, implements initiatives for experience exchange, and supports the development of the engineering community in Ukraine.
Expanding its network of international partnerships is part of DTEK Oil&Gas’s strategy aimed at implementing innovations, developing employee competencies, and integrating global best practices into the company’s operations.
