DTEK Oil&Gas presented its vision of Ukraine’s energy transformation at an international forum in Vienna
Forum participants focused on four key drivers of the energy transition — decarbonisation, decentralisation, digitalisation, and democratisation.
“Despite the war, Ukraine is actively developing its energy sector, working to implement European initiatives and meeting the conditions of European integration. The Ukrainian industry has significant investment potential for both national and international investors,” said Yuliia Borzhemska.
The highlighted key areas of cooperation include:
- restoration and modernisation of infrastructure;
- exploration and production of mineral resources (including the $150 million mineral resources agreement between Ukraine and the USA);
- development of gas storage facilities and interconnectors;
- LNG imports and regasification;
- introduction of innovative technologies in geological exploration and drilling.
Throughout the war, DTEK Oil&Gas has continued investing in the sector’s development. The company is focused on developing new resource areas and implementing advanced technological solutions. The business believes in Ukraine’s potential and remains open to joint projects with both Ukrainian and international partners.
