DTEK Oil&Gas Experts Obtain a Patent for an Automated Dispatch Control System (ADCS)
The ADCS collects data from wells, hydrocarbon metering stations, gas treatment units, gas detection systems, and early emergency detection and warning systems. The data goes to the servers of the dispatch stations, where it is collected and monitored. Using technical facilities and special software, data is displayed as interactive mimic diagrams, schemes, tables and reports. The system automatically generates reports for the analysis of technological parameters.
The ADCS functions 24/7 in real-time mode. Users with the corresponding access rights receive information from the system to their PCs, laptops or mobile devices. The ADCS plays an important role in prompt decision-making in the field of industrial process management and emergency prevention. The system detects the alarms of the equipment conditions and technological parameters and reports them to users.
The ADCS employs modern equipment of the leading international manufacturers. It includes the Hewlett Packard server hardware, a video wall made of special LG monitors, the Wonderware system platform that includes an application server, history data storage, web server, device integration software, graphical interface visualization, etc.
Olexii Raptanov, Hydrocarbons Extraction and Processing Director at DTEK Oil&Gas, noted, “Our company is moving steadily not only towards the production process automation but also towards digitization of the ‘smart’ field development process. The unique ADCS developed and implemented by our experts is a vivid example of the innovative thinking of the employees of DTEK Oil&Gas. The system plays a key role in the control of the industrial process, work planning and making managerial decisions.”
