In 3 Quarters 2017 DTEK Oil&Gas Increased Gas Production by 3%
The growth of gas production was achieved through the intensification of flowrates of active wells, reconstruction of land infrastructure, and a drilling program that saw the drilling of well No. 34 completed in late September. It is worth noting that the drilling of well No. 25 on Semyrenkivske Field was also launched in early autumn.
“We are able to improve performance thanks to the application of modern technologies aimed at increasing hydrocarbon production. We keep investing in drilling by attracting companies with modern and reliable equipment, which lets us apply the best drilling practices. However, further production growth depends on governmental support through the required deregulation of the gas sector, decrease of royalty, granting access to geological data and holding auctions for new sites,” commented Igor Shchurov, CEO of DTEK Oil&Gas.
