Supporting communities in the areas of operation and building strong partnerships remains one of DTEK Oil&Gas’ key priorities. Each year, the company invests substantial funds in projects that contribute to local development and improve the quality of life for residents. In 2026, DTEK Oil&Gas is implementing 17 social projects across 11 communities in the Poltava region, allocating about UAH 20 million for these initiatives.

The company supports projects that address pressing local challenges and respond to the current needs of communities in its operating areas. Particular focus is placed on healthcare, education and sport, which remain the key priorities of its social partnership programmes. Since the start of the full-scale war, DTEK Oil&Gas has invested over UAH 60 million in the development of community social infrastructure.

One example of this long-term partnership is the Velyki Sorochyntsi community. For the past five years, DTEK Oil&Gas has supported the modernisation of a building that houses a primary healthcare centre, a social services centre, an emergency medical unit and a therapeutic department. Over this period, the company has invested approximately UAH 14 million in the project.

Work continues this year, with renovations currently underway on an additional floor of the building. DTEK Oil&Gas has allocated more than UAH 5 million to support this phase of the project.

“This building is a tangible example of successful partnership. Through our joint efforts, we have renovated the premises and made them more accessible for people with disabilities by installing a wheelchair ramp and putting a lift into operation. Such support from the company helps improve the quality of medical and social services available to residents of our community,” said Oleksandr Tyshchytskyi, Head of the Velyki Sorochyntsi Community.

Projects are also progressing in other communities, including the development of sports facilities for young people, refurbishment works and equipment upgrades for educational institutions, and the renovation of healthcare facilities. Most projects are currently in their final stages, while the remainder are scheduled for completion by the end of the year.

Royalty payments are also a significant contribution to local community development. In the first half of 2026 alone, UAH 75 million was paid into local budgets. These funds support local programmes, infrastructure development and other projects important to communities. For some municipalities, royalty revenues constitute one of the primary sources of local budget funding.
