DTEK Oil&Gas took part in the 13th International Oil and Gas Conference Newfolk NCC “Coiled Tubing. Hydraulic Fracturing. Drilling Services. Geology and Geophysics”, held in Lviv, which brought together representatives of production companies, service businesses, equipment manufacturers, and international partners.
During the conference, Maksym Dorokhov, Head of Technological and Digital Development at DTEK Oil&Gas, presented the company’s approach to technology development in hydrocarbon exploration and production and shared practical experience of implementing modern engineering solutions in Ukrainian conditions.
To improve the efficiency of production processes, DTEK Oil&Gas is strengthening its own technological capabilities by combining the expertise of the Service Company and the Engineering and Technology Centre. This approach enables the business to introduce new solutions quickly, adapt international experience to Ukrainian reality and improve the efficiency of production operations.
An important area of the company’s work remains the development of technological cooperation with world-class companies. One example of this is the introduction in Ukraine of Vertical Scout technology by the American company TurboDrill. The technology helps maintain vertical wellbore trajectory during drilling, while reducing technical risks and financial costs at great depths.
In his speech, Maksym Dorokhov stressed the importance of expanding partnerships for the further development of the entire industry: “Today, the development of hydrocarbon production in Ukraine largely depends on effective interaction between production companies, service contractors, technology partners, and investors. At DTEK Oil&Gas, we are consistently developing our own technological capabilities and use international experience to improve the efficiency of our production processes. We are convinced that the development of financial, resource and technological partnerships is an important part of the future of Ukraine’s oil and gas industry.”
