Naftogazvydobuvannya announced an invitation to tender for a contract to drill four new wells in accordance with international standards

New wells will be drilled at the Semerenkivske Field. Each well will be drilled directionally and have the depth of 5.5-5.7 thousand meters. The drilling period is from 2017 to 2019.

The terms and conditions of proposed cooperation comply with IADC (International Association of Drilling Contractors) standards: independent management of drilling services by the project owner based on IDS (Integrated Drilling Services) principles, drilling at a “daily rate”, and adherence to international requirements for contractual documentation. “This approach gives us an opportunity to invite tenders from both domestic and international drilling companies, whose presence in Ukraine is currently limited. We would like to see innovative solutions, efficient process management, and a high level of environmental and industrial safety at our cites. We expect that healthy competition will help us find a partner who is able to ensure that the work is performed in a professional manner, responsibly, and within the agreed time frames,” commented Igor Shchurov, CEO of DTEK Oil&Gas.

DTEK Oil&Gas has already conducted negotiations with a number of international drilling companies, which confirmed their interest in working on the Ukrainian market.
