From now on, residents of the Savyntsivska and Velykoobukhivska village councils (the Myrhorod District in the Poltava Oblast) will be able to use services of a new patient transport ambulance. The vehicle was procured within the Strategy of Social Partnership between the Myrhorod District and PJSC Naftogazvydobuvannya (a DTEK Oil&Gas company). The company assigned more than UAH 400 thousand for these needs.

A new UAZ-396295 ambulance will service more than two thousand local residents. The vehicle has enhanced cross-country power and is equipped with a special stretcher, so it can be used not only to deliver doctors and medicines to the sick but also to transport patients to hospitals.

“Until this moment our doctors used the UAZ whose service life had long expired, and its body decayed, which made this car almost unusable for transporting patients. Thanks to our new ambulance, the residents of two neighbouring villages will be able to receive better medical assistance,” said Oleksandr Tyshchytskyi, the chairman of the Savyntsivska village council.

“Health care is a top priority for social efforts undertaken by Naftogazvydobuvannya. Back in 2014, we procured one emergency ambulance for servicing several village councils in the Myrhorod District, and now added to it a patient transport ambulance,” noted Oleksii Raptanov, Deputy Chief Production Officer and Chief Technology Officer at PJSC Naftogazvydobuvannya.
