20 premises including wards for little patients, canteen, kitchen, bathrooms, offices, hall, and corridor undergone renovation. New modern furniture was purchased and installed in freshly renovated wards.

“The last renovation was done here 16 years ago. The condition of the department was horrible: the floor was falling down, the walls were covered with mold, furniture, and bathroom and lavatory equipment fell into disrepair. The picture we see now is completely different: modern rooms where kids can receive medical treatment in appropriate conditions,” noted Margaryta Khorolska, chief physician of the Shyshatska central district hospital.
The renovation was carried out within the framework of social partnership between the Shyshatskyi District and Naftogazvydobuvannya. The company has been financing the restoration of the hospital and its supply with modern medical equipment for several years now.

In particular, Naftogazvydobuvannya sponsored the installation of energy-efficient windows at the hospital, financed the procurement of equipment for the cardiology department, and donated two ambulances. The company also supported the renovation of the maternity department, helped create an anaesthesiology department equipped with intensive care beds, and mother and child centre, and sponsored the renovation of a boiler plant.

“Health and safety of the residents of areas where the company operates is one of the priorities of our company’s social policies. Today, it is safe to say that the quality of medical services provided in the Shyshatskyi Districts has been growing from year to year, and we are part of these improvements,” said Igor Shchurov, CEO of DTEK Oil&Gas.
