DTEK Oil&Gas introduced isolated work on 24th March to protect the health of the company’s employees and their families and ensure uninterrupted extraction of natural gas. The first shift lasted three weeks, following which all the employees were gradually substituted with other employees within five days. The shift rotation was accompanied by strict sanitary and hygienic measures. All the employees were tested for coronavirus using PCR tests. The personnel was not allowed to enter the production facilities until their tests returned negative. Neither of DTEK Oil&Gas employees was tested positive for COVID-19.

Ihor Shchurov, DTEK Oil&Gas attended the shift rotation. ‘The company makes every effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease, and our first priority is to protect health of our employees and their families. This is why we timely introduced a special mode of work: isolated work for production personnel and remote work for office personnel, and hygienic requirements are strictly followed at all sites. I am confident that each person’s responsible attitude to compliance with the quarantine measures will help our country to tackle this challenge’, — noted Ihor Shchurov.
