Today, the entire oil and gas industry in Ukraine is in urgent need of modern technologies to increase the efficiency of field development and increase gas production. Therefore, DTEK Oil&Gas began implementing a large-scale national project - the creation of a technological oil and gas hub, which will be able to systematically attract innovations, advanced technologies, international startups and experts from the global oil and gas market. This was told by the CEO of the company Igor Shchurov at the Ukrainian Energy Forum.

“We need a quality basis for preparing for technological breakthroughs both in the exploration and intensification of existing fields, and in attracting the modern technologies for the development of hard-to-recover reserves and the development of the sea shelf, which are not present in Ukraine. For this purpose that DTEK Oil&Gas has begun to create a technological oil and gas hub, ”said Igor Schurov.

Producing and service companies, start-ups, scientific local and international institutes will become equal participants in the hub. The technological hub will become an effective tool for attracting new technologies to Ukraine and a platform where complex cases of gas producers will be solved to increase the production of natural gas.

The technological oil and gas hub will form new trends in the development of the industry and provide a new incentive for Ukraine to achieve energy independence.
