DTEK Oil&Gas Produced 1.64 billion cubic meters of Natural Gas in 2018
The target production volumes were exceeded due to the implementation of the drilling program at the Semyrenkivske field, where wells No. 25 and No. 61 were drilled. DTEK Oil&Gas has also completed a large-scale investment project for the construction of a propane refrigeration unit, which was put into operation at the Olefirivka Preliminary Gas Processing Terminal in September 2018. In addition, overhauls were carried out with measures to escalate production at the existing well stock, and the gas utilization and condensate stabilization compressors at the Olefirivka Preliminary Gas Processing Terminal and the Semyrenkivska Preliminary Gas Processing Terminal were equipped and commissioned, which can significantly increase the environmental friendliness of the hydrocarbon mining process.
Igor Schurov, General Director of DTEK Oil&Gas, said, “In 2018, we confirmed our historical maximum due to the increase in the efficiency of working with the current stock and the introduction of modern technologies. With the help of innovations, we were able to produce an additional 100 million cubic meters of gas. It is important to note that over the past year, there has been a significant improvement in the regulatory environment, which contributed to the revision of investment programs, and we are planning to increase drilling volumes to restore the previous production dynamics in 2020 already. We also plan to continue implementing large-scale infrastructure projects and systematically introduce innovative solutions aimed at increasing hydrocarbon production.”
