DTEK Oil&Gas has the highest regard for professional growth and staff development, which is why the company’s specialists are constantly involved in various educational programs, courses and training. This allows it to successfully implement the most advanced technologies, improve work efficiency and be a leader in the gas industry in Ukraine. On November 19 to 23, the Poltava office completed the advanced course Design and Drilling of Wells Under HPHT Conditions, which was attended by 15 DTEK Oil&Gas specialists in the core areas, drilling and geology.

The training was conducted by Esanda Engineering, an international company that trains oil and gas industry specialists. It organizes training programs for such global energy companies as Eni, Eon, Engie, ExxonMobil, and RWE. The trainer was Steve Nas, an expert with 39 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

The participants reviewed the problems faced by global companies in drilling high-pressure and high-temperature wells: geological details that must be taken into account when designing such wells, technical requirements for equipment, routine maintenance of emission warning systems, and the process of interaction between services operating in a well with similar conditions.
