They spoke about the potential of the Ukrainian gas industry and investment opportunities: a new system of auctions for the sale of licenses for oil and gas production, PSA competitions and production enhancement contracts (PEC). The forum launched the second round of online oil and gas auctions, in which 7 new sites with a total area of over 1,000 sq. km were put up for sale in 5 regions of Ukraine.

Another driver for increasing gas production and ensuring energy independence is an effective public and private partnership. Natalia Hrebeniuk, Executive Director of DTEK Oil&Gas, spoke about this at the forum. “Our company is one of the largest private investors in the oil and gas industry of Ukraine. Every year we invest over UAH 1 billion in the development of assets, we have unique expertise in deep drilling and the development of complex fields. Therefore, DTEK Oil&Gas is ready to act as a partner for both external investors and state-owned companies,” she pointed out.
